Jam Crumble Bars

These treats are ridiculously easy to make and very yummy. They only require five ingredients!
Jam Crumble Bars
1/2 C (1 stick) unsalted butter, melted
1 (18.25 oz) box vanilla cake mix
2 C rolled oats
¼ C evaporated milk
1 C jam, any flavor you want
1. Preheat oven to 350F. Grease two 8x8 inch pan.
2. In a large mixing bowl, mix together butter, cake mix, oats, and milk, until incorporated; it’s ok if there are lumps, it should be crumply

3. Divide the mixture into four parts. Take one part of the mixture and press it to the bottom of one pan.

Spread ½ C jam over the crust, and then sprinkle another part of the cookie mixture evenly over the jam.

Repeat the process with another pan.
I made two 8x8 cookie bars. For the first batch, I spread some blueberry jam on half of the crust, and mandarin on the other half.
4. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the crust is golden brown.

Those cookies taste better when they’re completely cooled; and the texture becomes chewier and the jam becomes more intense as they sit at room temperature for longer.
